Kodesh and Hol

Is an hourglass for seven days of mourning It folds in on itself shrinks when the sand falls done. What remains is pile of sand that stays and remembers

my vision of mourning represented by  an hourglass for seven days of mourning It folds in on itself shrinks when the sand falls done.

What remains is pile of sand that stays and remembers

Dealing with loss

1 / Base

I started my research from the word memories And memory losst

2 / Dimensions

I realized that sand simulates for me those vanishing memories

In my work there is the choice about the amount of sand and the amount of time

3 / SHIVA

is the week-long mourning period in Judaism for first-degree relatives. The shiva period lasts for seven days following the burial. Following the initial period of despair and lamentation immediately after the death, shiva embraces a time when individuals discuss their loss and accept the comfort of others
