One of the issues we face today is the energy crisis.
I want to take you The neighborhood playground - children 'just' playing around- climbing, jumping, pushing things on their way. I thought that we could harness this pure source of energy.
The project started with a goal to utilize the energy children produced, but along the way according to different insights that were added while working on this project, I decided to change the main purpose of the facility to an educational facility for children that teaches about energy.
For the main object of reference, I chose a carousel, more specifically, a horse carousel. I studied the mechanism of horse carousels and applied it to our project.
In order to design it as an ultimate educational play and encourage children to use their imagination, I decided keep the general shape, anonymous and nave.
I thought about creating a smart facility that will count how much energy is produced while being used, and display in ahumourous way on a small screen how this energy could also be used in daily routine activities.
